The Australian Hindu Multicultural Association Inc. (AHMA) School of Language, Arts & Culture, AHMA Hindi School operates from Quakers Hill High School premises in Western Sydney on Sundays and runs concurrently with the mainstream school terms. The classes are held between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
School of Language, Arts & Culture was established in 1994 by AHMA, the parent body. However, day to day Hindi School activities are run by the Parent – Teacher Association which is elected annually. The Hindi School has been running for the past 24 years and is considered one of the most successful Hindi and Cultural School in Australia.
Currently there are 109 students enrolled in Hindi & Cultural classes. Apart from Hindi, cultural subjects such as Tabla, Harmonium, Bollywood Dance and Bharatnatyam (Indian Classical Dance) are taught by well qualified teachers at this school.
The Hindi School employs a total of 10 highly qualified teachers dedicated in their respective specialities. The current Principal of the School is Mr Ganga Singh who is a highly accomplished teacher in Hindi Language and music in addition to having many years as a Principal with administrative experience.
Every year students of School of Language, Arts and Culture perform various items in Diwali Mela and Annual School Concert.
